How do I choose my skier type?
Type I- Beginner: Prefer slow to moderate speeds. Prefer gentle to moderate terrain. Type I settings apply to entry level skiers uncertain of their classification.
Type II- Intermediate: Prefer a variety of speeds. Prefer varied terrain. Type II skiers are skiers who do not meet all the descriptions of Type I or Type III skier types.
Type III- Expert: Prefer fast speeds. Prefer steep terrain. Receive higher than average visual indicator settings. This may reduce the likelihood of release in a fall in order to decrease the risk of inadvertent binding release.
How do I know what length ski or snowboard I should rent?
Easy, if you aren't sure just let one of our certified technicians find the optimum length for you.
I have my own boots, is it possible to only rent skis?
Yes, when making your reservation simply choose your desired equipment package in the "Ski Only" version.
I have my own skis can I just rent boots?
Boot only rentals are available at all Extreme Snowboard and Ski rental locations. Remember your bindings must meet manufacturer safety requirements and be able to pass a function in order to ensure they are safe for use.
Can I rent a winter jacket and snow bibs?
Yes, Extreme Snowboard and Ski is proud to offer clothing rentals. Clothing cannot be reserved and is offered on a first come first serve basis.
Can I rent ski goggles and gloves?
No, we do not offer goggle or glove rentals, simply because you cannot sanitize them after use.
Are helmets required?
No, skiers and snowboarders are not required to wear helmets. However, Extreme Snowboard and Ski strongly recommends that all skiers and snowboarders wear a helmet no matter your ability level. Helmet rentals are available at all Extreme Snowboard and Ski rental locations.
Do you have Ski and Snowboard boots in plus sizes?
Yes, we stock both ski and snowboard boots up to size 17. Quantities in these large sizes are limited so be sure to make a reservation prior to your arrival.
Can I exchange my skis or snowboard if I don't like them?
Absolutely, at Extreme Snowboard and Ski we are committed to ensuring that you have the "Time of your LIFE". If something is not right stop by one of our convenient locations and we will have you back on the mountain in no time.
Can we pick up our Equipment the day before?
Yes, if you pick up your gear any time after 8PM you will not be charged for that day
Can I exchange my snowboard rental for skis?
Absolutely, if you want to swap your snowboard for skis or vice versa feel free to do so. There may be a difference in price when switching equipment packages.
Can I reserve a specific ski or snowboard model?
Yes, we do take requests for specific models. If you want to rent a specific demo ski or reserve the same ski you rented on your last trip, simply request such when making your reservation.
Can I pick up my equipment at one location and return it at another?
At this time all equipment must be returned to the same location where it was originally picked up.
Reserving Your Equipment
Securing your Ski or Snowboard Equipment at Extreme Snowboard and Ski is easy. To make a reservation, simply call your Extreme Snowboard and Ski rental location directly and speak to a member of our knowledgeable team, use our online information request form or simply complete your reservation online. If you are unsure which equipment package best fits your needs let our team guide you through the process, ensuring you find the perfect equipment package that fits your needs and desires.
Make your reservation as soon as you know your vacation dates! Once we have taken as many reservations as we can accommodate, we will no longer accept reservations. Remember all reservations must be made 24 hours prior to your pick up date; However, Extreme Snowboard and Ski will do everything possible to accommodate last minute reservations.
If for some reason you need to cancel your ski or snowboard rental, please notify us as soon as possible. Extreme Snowboard and Ski offers the most flexible cancelation policy in the industry. Equipment reservations for groups of less than 14 people can be canceled up to 24 hours before pick their scheduled pick up time for a full refund. Groups larger than 15 people can cancel their reservation up to 7 days before their scheduled pick up time for a full refund. Unfortunately reservations made inside of the cancelation window will forfeit the full cost of their equipment reservations. Extreme Snowboard and Ski will not issue any refunds for guest arriving after their scheduled pick up time or for guest who return their equipment early.
Our cancelation policy applies to every equipment package we offer and there will be no exceptions. We regret we cannot make exceptions for personal emergencies.
The pickup location and pickup time for your equipment rental will be made when you place your reservation. Extreme Snowboard and Ski does offer a variety of pickup locations and pickup times for your convenience. No refunds are issued for guests arriving late for their pickup time.
Extreme Snowboard and Ski generates a bi-monthly e-mail informing subscribers about upcoming events, current snow conditions and trips that Extreme Snowboard and Ski feels interest you. Your privacy is our up most concern; you can count on Extreme Snowboard and Ski to never share your e-mail address with any third party company. You can easily unsubscribe from our e-mail newsletter by simply clicking the unsubscribe link, located at the end of every e-mail.
